This collection contains passenger arrival records in the area of Auckland, New Zealand between the years 1837 and 1921. Some passengers were acknowledged as arrivals in New Zealand although they were in transit to other countries thus their port of arrival shall be their destination country. Records typically include the name of the passenger, year and place of birth, date and port of departure, date and port of arrival, and the name of the ship.<br><br>Some records may contain the passenger's occupation, age at the time of arrival and birth year.<br>The records in this collection were made public by the Auckland Council Libraries.
